A huge thank you to the Thurston-Mason County Dental Society for including Turning Pointe in this year’s golf tournament fundraiser! ⛳️

Despite the cold and rain, golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and organizers still showed up with energy and spirit. We are so grateful to everyone who braved the weather to make the day a success.

It was an honor to be selected as a benefiting organization again this year. Turning Pointe Board Member, Karen Sullivan with Edward Jones graciously sponsored a hole and once again invited Turning Pointe to share that space with her. We loved connecting with participants throughout the day and sharing more about Turning Pointe’s mission and the work we do to support survivors in our community.

Events like this are such a meaningful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together, even in less-than-perfect conditions. Thank you again to everyone who organized, sponsored, volunteered, donated, and participated. Your support truly makes a difference! 💜

As we wrap up another Mother’s Day spent honoring and celebrating motherhood, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the organizations, donors, and community members who helped make this celebration so meaningful for the families we serve. 💐

Thank you to Jacque for donating so many thoughtful and beautiful gift baskets. Jacque beautifully curated 22 gift baskets for every mom in shelter and our housing program. The abundance and care put into the baskets moved many of the mom’s to tears.

A special thank you to The Anonymously Yours Foundation for providing a catered meal as well as stunning fresh floral arrangements for each mom.

Because of the kindness and support shown by our community, the women we serve were able to experience moments of joy, care, and connection.

Thank you for helping make Mother’s Day feel special and full of love. ❤️

Today, we celebrate the many forms of love, care, strength, and support that motherhood can represent. 💐

To the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, chosen family, caregivers, mentors, and nurturers — thank you for the comfort you give, the strength you carry, and the love you share in ways big and small.

We also recognize that Mother’s Day can bring a mix of emotions, and wherever you are today, we hope you make space for gentleness, connection, and care for yourself, too.
Wishing peace, joy, and support to all who are celebrating today. 💜

Happy World Laughter Day 💛

As we step into May—a season of growth, renewal, and new beginnings—we’re reminded that healing isn’t just about surviving, but also about finding moments of light along the way.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re holding space for both: the weight people carry and the joy they deserve. Laughter can’t fix everything—but sometimes, it helps us breathe a little deeper.

A gentle smile for today: Why don’t calendars ever feel overwhelmed?
Because they take things one day at a time. 😊

Here’s to growth, to hope, and to taking it one day at a time.

💙 Today we stand together in denim. 💙

Our team is proud to participate in Denim Day! Today is a reminder that what someone wears is never an excuse for harassment or assault. This day is about raising awareness, supporting survivors, and continuing the conversation around respect and consent.

We wear denim in solidarity, in support, and in commitment to a culture where everyone feels safe and heard.

Denim Day is a global movement that raises awareness about sexual violence and challenges harmful myths around consent. It began after a court overturned a r**e conviction, suggesting the victim’s tight jeans implied consent, sparking outrage and a worldwide call to action.

The message is clear: what someone wears—jeans or anything else—is never consent.

By wearing denim, you’re helping spark important conversations and showing support for survivors. Join us! Wear your denim, snap a photo, and share it on social media to stand in solidarity and spread awareness. 💙
