I received word today that we are officially closed down. I don't have the answers to all of your questions yet, but rest assured we are working to get everything ironed out. That means any who are needing cards will get them, if you have been approved to be sworn we will get that done for you, if you have paid your dues but have not been voted in we will find your new club and get the process rolling for you, transfers to new clubs will also be facilitated with you. If you have questions please use this format to ask them so that we have a written record of those questions and answers will be posted for them.
I know that there are personal belongings inside the club and we are working to get a date and time to retrieve your belongings. I know that not everyone has access to Facebook so when you see someone please let them know of this development. When this process is concluded we will be shutting this page down for good. If you need to speak to the trustees or a particular trustee let us know through this page and you will be contacted by one of us. We ask that you leave your name and a trustee will get back to you. I don't think there is a lot of people with experience doing this type of thing but if you or someone you know does have experience we would greatly appreciate the help, also if you have any ideas on how to make this run smoothly please let us know, constructive criticism is always welcome.
The club may be shut down but we are still Brothers and Sisters.

Another point to ponder. I have seen enough business's go bankrupt or file for a loan to think that with what we are asking from Grand that they will want a restructuring plan from us, so put your differences aside and put your thinking caps on and come up with a plan, or at least something useful that can be put into the plan. Your Worthy President should put a team together, quickly, and with a lot of committee members from both the Auxiliary and the Aerie and our bank along with anyone else he can come up with who can help. 200 of you said you would help well here ya go!

During the joint meeting on October 30,2025 with the Aerie Trustees, Officers of The Auxiliary, and the Aerie Officers it was decided that because of lack of funds, low participation and carrying too much debt that we could not keep the doors open for the bar and kitchen to keep operating. So to be clear, the bar and kitchen are closed but we have not had our charter revoked.
After the meeting our Receiver was contacted to inform him of our joint decision. He then contacted our Grand Regional Representative and informed him of the decision by the club. His name is Mike Simons and he will be coming in to review our situation and will then make a decision as to whether we should close the club permanently or recommend to Grand that we be candidates for help with our finances. If we become worthy for assistance, it will still be Grands decision whether any help will be made for us to try once again to make a cohesive club, make contributions to our community, and make our club something we can all be proud of.
It is because of that possibility that we have not made an announcement that we are closing. As soon as that decision is made we will make an announcement on their conclusion. What we say in public and on social media may be a factor in that decision, so we are asking that finger pointing and trash talking members and the club be refrained from. It can only hurt us.
If the decision is negative, we will be setting up informational kiosks and meetings to help with transfers, and any other needs that the members may need, including returns of loaned items pending review by the officers. The club trustees and the officers will also help with the movement of items for any who asks from loading/unloading and setup at your selected location.
On behalf of the trustees and officers of FOE 3862 we wish each one of you all the best and hope you all will do your best to make our club a place where “People help People” again. Now is your time to shine. It’s not your club, it’s not my club, it’s our club.
If I cannot speak well of an Eagle I will not speak ill of an Eagle.
