The Lost Coast Quilt Guild is hosting guest artist Gwen Weedon, her specialty is seascape quilts. The workshop will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Gwen is a fantastic instructor, it should be lots of fun, see her website at: http// www sonshinequilting.com
The fee for the class is $60 for LCQG members and $75 for non members, The workshop will be held at the Community Clubhouse, 1555 Upper Pacific Drive, Shelter Cove, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Saturday, March 14, SCARF is planning on a short work party at the Labyrinth from 11 am to 12 pm. We will be doing some weeding and enjoying the newly blooming daffodils that were planted last fall.

SCARF wants to also thank Linda Franklin and Natalie Urbano who helped plant several hundred daffodils last Fall.

Please come out and join us. Bring garden gloves and a five gallon bucket if you have one.

Lost Coast Quilt Guild meets on the third Wednesday of the month, our next meeting is October 15th. We meet at the Community Clubhouse from 1-5 PM. Our Block of the Month for October is a streamlined 9-patch in autumn colors. Visitors are welcome. The supply list is available on the Lost Coast Quilt Guild page. The quilt pictured below includes 9-patch blocks. The Labor of Love Quilt Show/Lost Coast Quilt Guild is supported by SCARF.

The Lost Coast Quilt Guild meets this coming Wednesday, September 17th from 1-5 PM at the Community Clubhouse, 1555 Upper Pacific Drive in Shelter Cove.

The project this month is a rag quilt, Jori McLeran will be our instructor. We will be using flannel that was donated to the guild. Everyone is welcome to come and get acquainted with other local quilters, come to be inspired, or just to observe.

Thanks to all of you that bought raffle tickets, we appreciate your support. We hope you enjoyed the show, we had about 40 quilts on diaplay. Some were made by local artists, and some from quilters elsewhere. A special thanks to Jeannie Crocker for answering the call for more quilts to fill our quilt show. Jeannie lives in Washington State and she was coming down to Shelter Cove for a vacation. When I asked her to bring some of her quilts to fill out our show, she loaded up her car with quilts and came to help. Thank you Jeannie.

The 2025 Labor of Love Quilt Show quilt was won by Jane Kempe.

The Annual Labor of Love Quilt Show is this coming Saturday from 10 AM-3:30 PM at the Community Clubhouse, 1555 Upper Pacific Drive in Shelter Cove. The drawing for this quilt will be held at
3:00 PM. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Hope to see you there.
