SHELLEY COMMUNITY— THANK YOU!!!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This video shows the gifts donated to bless the lives and provide Christmas for 97 STUDENTS in our district this year!!! 🎅❤️

But there’s a lot that the video doesn’t show—

1. The gratitude of the recipients when they picked up the gifts. 💝
2. The 45+ families and neighborhoods that shopped for these children. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒
3. The school counselors that love and serve the kids in our district and look out for their needs to help them succeed. We couldn’t do this without them!! 😍

We live in an amazing community and are so full of gratitude for everyone that played a part in a successful giving season with Community Helping Kids! Merry Christmas, everyone!

This holiday season, we’re coming together as a community to make sure families feel the joy of Christmas. We’ll be sharing local families, selected by our Shelley school counselors, who could use a little extra love and support this season. Adopt one child or work with neighbors or friends to adopt the whole family.

Stay tuned for this year's needs for Christmas through Community Helping Kids (CHK). We are asking that you adopt one family and complete their entire list. You can team up with a friend or two, or do it on your own; however, we would like just one person as the point of contact and who will deliver all of the items together. This year we are requesting that you bring the gifts already wrapped and with a tag with the assigned code attached. This will help us stay much more organized and on top of everything.

There is a December 1st deadline for signing up for a child. We will be posting them within the next couple of days. Be sure to check the CHK page often over the next couple of weeks to see new postings. Thank you for all that you do for our community. Let's make Christmas special for these kids/families in need.

We are humbled and so grateful for the support to Community Helping Kids this year!! With the assistance of generous community members, neighborhoods, and businesses, we were able to help with Christmas for around 140 students! The school counselors have been amazing to work with to help us know of needs within the schools. They spent many hours shopping and delivering the gifts to families. We also want to give a big shout out to the help of some Shelley High School students for putting together goody bags and the boys basketball team for helping wrap presents!

What an honor it is to be part of such a great community. Thank you to everyone who played a part!! Merry Christmas! 🎄❤️

With the help of generous individuals, neighborhoods, and local businesses, we have been able to fulfill all of the Community Helping Kids lists this Christmas season! THANK YOU to our amazing community! We are humbled by your support in helping Shelley children and providing joy this Christmas season! 🎄💛
