Joyce Beck and Sherry Kearney are some of the original supporters of the planters.

They have volunteered from day one and fill every single year.

They always want to be the ones who bring up the rear-they fill the very last part of the season each year.

They take pride in getting the planters ready for Spud Day - they feel a deep love and responsibility to do their part for our little town.

I just love them and look up to them both so much!

They watered & spruced up the flowers bright and early this morning and will be placing brand new Spud Day signs in the planters later today. (Don’t they look amazing in their Spud Day T-Shirts?)

Julie, Paul & Jared Fielding are all filling the flower planters tonight. They are awesome!! Jared was in a very serious motorcycle accident not too long ago & even though he is still healing (in a cast and bandages) he wanted to come help by driving the Kubota. We live amongst some amazing people!
