The Shelby County Farmers Market, presented by Duke Energy, just wrapped up our most successful season yet for the SNAP and Market Bucks programs!

With SNAP sales, Major Health Partners/Major Hospital SNAP matching, MHP Market Bucks, and Cancer Association of Shelby County Market Bucks, our local farmers and artisans redeemed a record-breaking $12,245 this season! ⭐️

Thank you to our partners for supporting these programs that get fresh food into the hands of Shelby County residents in need, and funding into the pockets of our local farmers and artisans!

Thank you, Blue River Community Foundation! We are grateful to be one of the recipients of the 2026 Progress Grants! ⭐️

With funding, Mainstreet Shelbyville will address significant structural repairs to the north wall of its historic downtown building. After a section of brick fell during a snowstorm, two masonry inspections determined that the wall needs to be fully replaced. Grant support will help Mainstreet complete the capital repair without redirecting funding from its facade grant program, allowing the organization to continue investing in preservation and revitalization projects throughout downtown Shelbyville.
