🍎 Celebrating Our Incredible Educators!💙

Today, members of the Shelby County Education Foundation Board had the joy of visiting schools across the district to deliver goodie baskets to our amazing staff in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week.

These small tokens are just a simple way to say thank you for the big impact our educators and staff make every single day. From the classroom to the front office, on the bus, and beyond, your dedication, care, and commitment to students do not go unnoticed.

We are grateful for each of you and proud to support the work happening in Shelby County Public Schools.

We look forward to continuing to support our educators and schools through our scholarship programs, Teacher of the Year celebration, teacher mini-grants, and maybe even a few surprises along the way!

💡 Round 2 of Teacher Mini Grants is OPEN! Sponsored by the Shelby County Education Foundation, applications are now live through May 4.

Have an idea that could make learning more engaging, hands‑on, or meaningful for your students, but funding is the barrier? This is your sign. 👀

✅ Mini Grants are designed to help bring creative lesson plans, innovative projects, and impactful classroom experiences to life, ideas that go beyond typical school or classroom budgets.

🎉 Just this January, three Shelby County Public Schools teachers received Mini Grants, and you could be next!

✔️ Applicants must be certified SCPS teachers
