As the school year gets underway, it’s time to look ahead to another exciting year of Scouting!

Youth meetings will officially kick off on Tuesday, September 1st. Before we get started, we’d like to invite all parents to join us for a quick informational meeting on Tuesday, August 25th at 6:45 PM.

We’ll cover upcoming events, fall fundraising opportunities, and leave plenty of time to answer any questions you have. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

It’s time to cool off and have some fun! Grab your swimsuits, towels, and sunscreen, and join your fellow scouts for a splash in the pool.

• 📅 Date: Saturday, July 11th
• ⏰ Time: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
• 📍 Location: Shelbyville Family Activity Center (Outdoor Pool)
• 💵 Cost: $6 per swimmer

⚠️ Important Reminder: Standard BSA swim safety rules apply. Please make sure a parent or guardian stays at the pool with their scout(s). Non-swimming siblings are welcome to attend, but anyone getting in the water must pay the $6 swimmer fee.

We have a great meeting coming up, and I wanted to share a quick update on the schedule:

Parent Meeting: We’ll kick things off with a brief, 20-minute meeting for all parents right at the start.

Service Project Finale: While the parents are meeting, our Den Leaders will take the Cub Scouts outside to finish up the final steps of our service project.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone there as we wrap up this project and get some important updates out to the families!
