We are a nonprofit organization that was created to lend all possible support to the various programs of the Instrumental Band Department of Shelbyville Central School. We support making it possible for any student who wishes to participate in band the opportunity.

The SHS Band Boosters congratulate and celebrate our 2026 SHS Band Member Graduates!!!
We thank you for the past four amazing years of wonderful concerts and performances, IU Band Days, Seymour parades, Pit Band and tech week dinners, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Disney, Band Camps and Drills, and all the other special moments through these past four years!!

Thank you for allowing the Boosters to be a small part of your time at SHS ~ the doors will always be open to welcome you back!!!

Anyone interested in auditioning for the 2026-2027 SHS Drumline, the auditions will be on Tuesday May 12th from 3:45 p.m to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday May 13th from 3:15p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the SHS Band Room. Reminder 8th grade students will walk over from SMS to the SHS Band Room for auditions!

Please join us this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Shelbyville High School Breck Auditorium for an evening filled with a variety of classic, soulful, and popular Jazz tunes performed by the SHS Jazz Band. We look forward to seeing you there!!

We cannot believe the end of the school year is nearing and we know many of you are planning your summer vacations, students are planning for summer jobs, and everyone is ready for summer break ~ so mark your calendars for the 2026-2027 Marching Band Drills and Band Camp week!

Squad Leader Leadership Camp:
July 7th and 8th 10am-4pm

Marching Band Drills: July 13th through July 16th
New Marchers and Squad Leaders Only: Monday July 13th and Tuesday July 14th 5pm-8pm
All Marching Band Members: Wednesday July 15th and Thursday July 16th 5pm-8pm
All Drumline Members will meet every day of drills 4pm-8pm

**New Marchers Parent Meeting Tuesday July 14th at 7 pm; All returning Marcher Parents Wednesday July 15th

Marching Band Camp: July 20th through July 24th
All Marching Band Members
Monday through Thursday 8am to 9 pm
Friday 8am to 4/5pm

Please join us for an evening of music at the annual SHS and SMS Spring Band Festival this Wednesday April 22, 2026 at 7p.m. in the SHS Breck Auditorium.

We are also excited to be honoring our Class of 2026 Senior Band Members and their many contributions to the band program throughout their high school career.

HELP NEEDED!!! We are looking for volunteers to help staff the upcoming ISSMA JME event hosted by the SHS Band Department this Friday April 10th and Saturday April 11th! Roles include concessions, door monitors, stage crew, and more! Most shifts are between 3-4 hours. We are expecting many participants so any help would be appreciated.
