Change in venue for the Memorial Day Ceremony scheduled at the square on Monday due to weather. The ceremony will be held at the VFW Post 5019 1320 E. Depot St., Shelbyville. Doors open at 10am with the ceremony beginning at 11am.

We have a mission for our veteran community right here in Shelbyville, and we need YOUR help to get it done.

We are working to relocate a shed from the DAV building to the VFW location—a distance of 1.4 miles. We are looking for anyone with the heavy-duty equipment, trailer, or expertise to help us move this safely.

Depth: 10'2"
Height: 11'3"

If you are a local contractor, own a transport company, or have the gear to assist with this project, please reach out. This is a great opportunity to support our local veteran organizations and keep our assets where they belong.
