The pantry that was at 422 West Franklin street is officially moved to 2148 Cherokee drive. I Will put stuff in it, food-related and not food-related as often as I can. But please remember, it is community-based. So I hope our community can continue to come together and help fill it for people that need the little extra love! Thank you!

IMPORTANT:
The main B & C Free Pantry that sits on W. Franklin St. will be relocating. The new location will be:
-- 2148 Cherokee Dr --

We are sorry for any inconvenience.
It will be placed at the new location very soon. Making this move will spread the availability of the community pantries better. We still have a pantry at the corner of Broadway & Miller St.

B & C Free Pantry
UPDATE on status:
***READ, IMPORTANT***

We are still here! Unfortunately, we can't do as much as we use to be able to do.
- I ( C ) basically lost the ability to walk a little over 2 years ago. I'm hoping to regain as much mobility as I can.
But, this year, our world flipped upside down.....
- -January 2nd, we found out that my husband, Tim, (B's dad) has Stage 4 bladder / kidney cancer & Stage 4 kidney failure. The prognosis from doctors is not good, at all. He is not doing well, at this point.
- - We, as a family, are mostly focused on him, now. We try to keep an eye on the pantries & what is in them, when possible, but not like we were before.
- - Obviously, Tim is not working now. We ("C") were a one income household. "B" is a single mom. So, at this point, neither of us is financially able to stock or restock the pantries on an ongoing basis. We're struggling ourselves. We will try to add what we can, when we can.
- - IMPORTANT INFO for the COMMUNITY - - :
1.Thank you to those who have been adding to the pantries!!!
2. If you see outdated, spoiled, or items that shouldn't be in there (No refrigerated or frozen items) - please remove & dispose of those things

3. If you see a pantry door left open, please stop & close it. (yes we know the door on the pantry on W Broadway is broken)
4. If you notice something has been spilled inside the pantry, please, if you can, wipe it up.
5. Take only what you need from the pantry and add what you can.
6. PLEASE if you can add items to help others in the community, PLEASE do!!!

--422 W Franklin St (main location) - food pantry & Pet pantry
-- Corner of W Broadway & Miller - food pantry
We believe as a community, we all can work together to continue making the B & C Free Pantry work to help those who need a little helping hand up.
Thank you, everyone!
"C"

Cold & Open Food:
Please do not put items that need to be in a refrigerator or freezer in the pantry.
Open packages of food should not go in the pantry. Open packages leave it possible for food to be messed with & also attracts insects & stray animals.
We don't want anyone to get sick.
Thank you!

Last call! Christmas Cards:

If anyone in the community wants to help bring some Christmas cheer to the residents of a local Nursing Home, you still have an opportunity!

We have Christmas gifts for the residents. But, there are still two ways you can help, if you want.

1. Cards - we're still accepting Christmas cards for the residents. You can drop off any amount of signed cards. If you want to do a card for every resident, there are currently 65. Cards can be store bought or homemade. **Need by Friday Nov. 24th. **

2. We will have a list of snacks for the residents that can have them. If anyone is interested in helping get the snacks, we can share the list.

Cards can be dropped off at the main pantry location; 422 W. Franklin St.

DONE!

Christmas: Need please read
- Dolls, soft body, need at least 3
- 2 Colts & 1 Steelers items, hat, something soft like a blanket or pillow, or something they can put in their room
- Stuffed animals, need at least 5 more
- Small soft, cushy pillows, that would be good to rest arms on when sitting in a chair
We've been putting together Christmas presents for the residents of a local Nursing Home. If anyone wants to help, the list above are items we still need.

I know things are financially tight for most people this year. But I thought I'd post one more time, just in case anyone is able & wants to help. For the most part, with some help from family & family friends, we almost have this done.
Other than the list above & possibly some slippers, we should be able to cover everything else we still need.
We will be getting snacks for some residents, if anyone wants to help with that. We can get a list together for anyone interested.

Items can be dropped off, on the porch, at our main pantry location: 422 W. Franklin St.
