Today is a new day, thank you to everyone who had any part in my campaign! I appreciate all of the excitement and enthusiasm that you all brought! What an amazing experience! Stay positive and make a difference when you can! It’s worth it!

The election is over and unfortunately, I was not selected to be the next representative for the 3rd Ward of Shelbyville. Although this may not be the result we wanted, I am so incredibly thankful for all of the people that I had the privilege to interact and work with over the course of the campaign. I learned so much about my community and how many amazing people we have living amongst us. This isn’t the end to our endeavors, this honestly is just the beginning! I’m determined to continue making my community better in anyway that I can and to establish appropriate representation for an emerging generation of leaders.

Only a few more chances to early vote! Shelbyville Courthouse and Crossroads Community Church are open until 3:00 PM today! The Courthouse will also be open Monday (11/6) 8:00am - noon!

Busy day at Trunk or Treat downtown this afternoon! It was amazing to see such a great turnout and the great use of space the new public square was able to provide! These are events that help shape our community and allow us to continue making our city better for our residents!
