🎨🍕 Rock Painting & Pizza Night at The Bridge! 👩‍🎨

What an incredible evening we had last night at The Bridge! More than 20 adults from our community came together for a fun night of pizza, creativity, and connection.

We were honored to partner with Keyen Macklin and the City of Shelbyville to help create something meaningful for our community. Together, we painted 74 rocks that will be placed in the Mental Health Garden at Blue River Memorial Park!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and generously donated their time, talents, and creativity. Events like these remind us how powerful community connections can be. The laughter, conversations, and artistic touches made for a truly special night.

We are so grateful for each person who participated and helped make this project a success. We can't wait to see these colorful creations brighten the Mental Health Garden for all who visit.

💙 Thank you for helping us build community, one rock at a time!

Earlier this month we celebrated an incredible milestone for Jenny — 7 years of sobriety as of May 5th! 💜

Jenny is involved in Celebrate Recovery and walks boldly in her recovery journey. She walks alongside other women, works full time, and most importantly, continues rebuilding and strengthening the relationships with her children. Watching her growth and transformation has been such an inspiration to so many in our community who are still struggling and searching for hope. On May 7th, she received her 7-year token at The Bridge from her sponsor — a beautiful reminder that recovery is possible one day at a time. We are so proud of you Jenny, and thankful for the light you shine for others!

🎉 Today we celebrate Brandon and the incredible work God is doing in his life!🎉

Brandon recently celebrated 1 YEAR in recovery. When he realized he was about to lose his family, he surrendered his life to God and made the decision to fight for change. He went to the Ark of Decatur County to help get his life back on track and has since completed Moral Reconation Therapy.

Today, Brandon faithfully attends Celebrate Recovery on Tuesdays and Thursdays at The Bridge and Fridays at Crossroads. Along the way, he has found a strong community of men who truly care for one another. Pat and Jerry have been faithfully walking beside him through his recovery journey.

Brandon shared, “I’m grateful for the men leaders at The Bridge and especially Jerry doing my 12 steps with him on Sundays.”

We are so proud of Brandon, his hard work, and his commitment to recovery and restoration.

Will you join us in celebrating and encouraging him in the comments?

Between Celebrate Recovery and other programs, we go through a LOT of water! 💧

Huge thanks to some of our daytime Women’s Step Study — Anne, Kristen, Ashley, and Brandylyn (and Kent from Builders) — for helping unload a pallet.

And thank you to Drug Free Shelby County for making the purchase possible, plus Builders Lumber & Hardware for their great service. We appreciate you! 🙌

“What once felt like everything falling apart was actually God putting things back together the right way”. 🧩🥹

Stephanie Johnson stepped up to the plate last week at CR on Thursday evening to share her testimony with those in attendance. 💚 She shared about some of her past struggles and how God moved through all of them. She is so grateful to be able to share her story with others today.

Stephanie would like people to know that there is hope. Real hope. No matter how far gone you feel, no matter how many times you’ve messed up, or how many times you’ve had to start over - there is still a way out. You have to stay honest. You have to stay connected. And you have to keep choosing your own healing every single day.

Stephanie, thank you for sharing your experience, strength and hope with us! 🍃 We are so grateful!

Meet Stacia Winkler! 💖 This amazing lady celebrated ONE YEAR clean and sober at CR last night!! It has been such a blessing to watch God work in her life. In one year, Stacia has completed so much! She’s working, getting to spend more time with her kids, serving at Shelbyville Community Church, joined a Rooted group and is working a strong Celebrate Recovery program!! She’s built a wonderful support system and stays plugged in 🔌 to her recovery community. You can almost always bet that she’s wearing a smile! 🙂 We can see why! 🥹✝️ Stacia, on behalf of everyone at The Bridge and SCC, CONGRATULATIONS ON ONE YEAR!! 🙌🏼
