Based out of Shelbyville, Indiana, Iron Sharpens Iron Motorcycle Ministry (ISIMM) has been an established, independent motorcycle ministry since October 2020.
Our mission is simple:
Connect with God.
Connect with others.
Connect others with God.
We are a multi-denominational brotherhood built around the truth of Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so one sharpens another.” We come from different backgrounds and different church bodies, but we are united by our faith in Jesus Christ, commitment to one another, and love for the open road.
🏍️ LIFE ON AND OFF THE BIKE
We love motorcycles. We love to ride. But the motorcycles aren’t the ministry—they’re one of the ways God brings us together.
At our core, we’re a group of brothers and sisters doing life together: growing in our faith, holding one another accountable, encouraging one another, and striving to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever He leads us.
You may find us supporting local charity events, serving alongside recovery ministries such as Celebrate Recovery, helping provide emergency winter lodging for people facing hardship, praying with someone walking through a difficult season, or simply showing up when somebody needs a brother beside them.
Sometimes ministry happens at church. Sometimes it happens at an event. Sometimes it happens over coffee. And sometimes it happens on the side of the road next to a motorcycle. Wherever God opens the door, we want to be willing to walk through it.

Because another ministry uses a similar name—and because our paths sometimes cross within the same communities—we want people to be able to clearly identify Iron Sharpens Iron Motorcycle Ministry (ISIMM).⚡
IRON SHARPENS IRON MM — ISIMM
We are a local, independent motorcycle ministry based in Shelbyville, Indiana. When you see us on the road, our cuts use a traditional layout featuring:
IRON SHARPENS IRON on the top rocker
THE KINGDOM on the bottom rocker
A center silver cross with a golden crown of thorns

⛪ IRON SHARPENS IRON MINISTRY
There is also a separate, larger multi-state ministry using the Iron Sharpens Iron name that has established a presence in multiple Indiana communities. Although some of their members also ride motorcycles, they are a separate organization with their own leadership, ministry structure, and identifiers.
Their vests can be distinguished by Hebrew lettering across the top and a circular patch featuring a cross made of nails. They do not wear our rockers or our MM designation.
And let us be clear: We have no problem seeing other believers out sharing the Gospel. This distinction isn’t about competition—it’s about clarity and respect. We simply want riders, churches, ministries, law enforcement, community partners, and the people we meet along the way to know who they’re talking to and who they’re riding with when they see our colors.
👊 BROTHERHOOD/SISTERHOOD & GROWTH
We believe real ministry is built through real relationships. We aren’t interested in chasing numbers or putting patches on backs just so we can say we’ve grown. We believe the strongest growth happens organically—through fellowship, trust, accountability, time, and doing life together.
Our focus is building a dedicated brotherhood and sisterhood of men and women who ride together, pray together, serve together, laugh together, carry one another through the hard times, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder in our walk with Christ.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to come around. You don’t have to be perfect. In fact, around here we like to say: “You don’t clean up before you get in the shower.”
Come as you are. Get around us. Get to know us—and give us the opportunity to get to know you.
And we don’t care what name is written on the side of your gas tank. Harley. Honda. Indian. Kawasaki. Yamaha. Suzuki. Triumph.CanAm. Whatever. If you’ve got two wheels or  three wheels and want to ride, come ride.
Let relationships develop naturally. Spend some time with us. Ride with us. Break bread with us. Serve with us. And see for yourself what genuine Christian brotherhood and  sisterhood looks like.
No pressure. No pretending. No need to have it all figured out. Just brothers, motorcycles, ministry, and Jesus.
Because when the motorcycles are parked, the events are over, and the cuts are hanging on the wall, one thing still matters:
