Premier Day!! 6th grade scrimmaged against Marion and showed amazing growth. All these boys should be extremely proud in how far they have come since last year. I can’t wait to watch what they do when our season starts up.

There’s still time to sign up for 5th and 6th grade tackle football. This is a great learning experience for the kids before they move up to middle school football. We have amazing coaches that work with middle school and high school coaches to make sure they are being taught the skills they will need when they move up. Most of the other schools they will be playing against are schools they will play in middle and high school. If you would like more information or have question myself and all the coaches are available to talk to you.

6th grade parents I mixed up the 10/17 game it is actually 10/18. I mixed up the date with 5th grade who will play that Saturday. Sorry about the mixup.

Reminder about the parents meetings this week. 6th grade is on Tuesday and 5th grade Wednesday @ 5:00 pm at the Y in the MPR room. Please bring your kids with you as they will need to be weighed and fitted for their uniforms right after the meeting. Please also remember paperwork that needs turned in.

There’s still time to sign up for Tackle football. This is a great program with some amazing coaches. We have added on 3 new teams this year plus we are continuing with one Under the Lights game for the kids and I’m adding on a senior day for the 6th grade boys and their parents to have the opportunity to walk the field together their last game as the graduate up to middle school football. Also offering Flag football to the younger kids. Sign up is now and as always please contact me for any questions I will be happy to answer them.

6th grade will meet July 14th @ 5:00
5th grade will meet July 15th @ 5:00
We will meet in the Multi Purpose Room. We will have the meeting first then get uniforms handed out so make sure your kids are with you.

Reminder that all sign ups have to be done at the Shelby Y so that way you are given a folder with all the information that needs filled out and turned back in plus information that you will need to keep for future reference.
