Mississippians Engaged in Greener Agriculture (MEGA)

Mississippians Engaged in Greener Agriculture (MEGA) MEGA is a non-profit organization founded in Shelby, MS by Dorothy Grady-Scarbrough.

Mississippians Engaged in Greener Agriculture (MEGA) was found as a direct result of the many financial and health disparities that have long plagued the MS Delta. MEGA initially began to improve the resource and education of local small farmers, and has since developed efforts in youth leadership, youth mentorship, community engagement, health education, food security, and locally grown vegetable purchase and consumption.

(Delta Health Collaborative/ Sugar and hypertension) Don't get too much sugar in your system. It raises blood pressure- some say more than salt does! So be careful with the sugars. Limit the sodas, candy, and some juices. But the sugar in fruits and vegetables are okay. Just consume them in moderation. Please share! STOP to end
