y other businesses and organizations to host the popular event, “Ashland Railway's Polar X-press” and “The S.A.B.G's Moments of Christmas Magic” on Sunday, November 19th, 2017! This event is directed solely to the youth of our communities! Even though the adults enjoyed it just as much, with over 3000+ attendees on an annual basis for the last 5 years, the PR that can be gained within this event is unspeakable! Not only do we strive to leave lasting impressions on the younger children, we have also combined our efforts in leaving our impressions on our future leaders and future workforce with over 6+ classes from PCTC on board with us we can make our communities shine! Today we are announcing that we have cancelled the 2020 Business Expo in response to the rapidly unfolding COVID-19 situation.

“After much thought and consideration, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Business Expo, the Expo Eve After Hours, as well as the Lunchwise Wednesday luncheon scheduled for March 19, 2020. This is out of an abundance of caution,” said Jodie Perry, Chamber President.

“We love the work we do here, and we believe in the importance and value of it – but it is not worth the risk. We will continue to monitor the situation and make announcements about additional events when or if there is a need.”

Perry continued, “While this particular situation is new, our community has faced many times of trial before. We will get through this one as well. We must support each other – especially the most at-risk population, be extra patient with people during this time, support our local businesses, and continue to work together.”
