Toole County 4-H Cloverbuds

Toole County 4-H Cloverbuds From MSU Extension Website:
Montana 4-H includes a special program for youth five to seven years old called Cloverbuds.

Youngsters in the Cloverbud project work with other children on selected 4-H activities from a structured curriculum that is fun, hands-on and discovery-oriented. Youth of this age group enroll ONLY in this project and all activities are non-competitive. Youth can explore many projects, but can’t enroll in them. Through Cloverbuds, children can develop age-appropriate skills and abilities

Hadley, Jaydin and Nathan Ergenbright, Jackie Stratton, and Joe and Barb Larsen set up the pullet pen inside the Exhibit Building in April. We scrubbed the panels and made the pen escape proof. Jaydin and Nathan built 3 roosts and a swing for the birds. They loved them. Hadley set up a brooder in her garage and took care of the day old chicks until they were old enough to move to the fairgrounds. Thank you to the Ergenbrights, Hemmers, Barb and Joe Larsen, and Jackie Stratton and Kim Woodring for taking turns caring for these birds.
