Good morning NC03! Call me crazy but I miss sweating to death with y’all.

The majority of you all voted to add more shows to the schedule. Debbie and I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to figure out when and where we could have a show without impeding on anyone else or holiday.

One of the only weekends available is going to be Saturday, October 3rd.

Join us at Tough Enough Rodeo & Campground Company for another three district show.

At this time, we do not have an open weekend to add the second makeup show. If we get another canceled show, we may have to run in November should y’all choose to reschedule.

The day at the track is not a barrel race. It’s not sanctioned for points or attendance. I have been told that Pine Tree Stables it’s going to have a food truck for us as well!

Well now that that's out of the way, let's have some fun! Most of you know, our very own Madison Huddy has made friends with a race track in Camden, SC. Pine Tree Stables has graciously invited us barrel racers to cross the pond into track racing for a day!

Our barrel horses could use some time outside of the pen, and would enjoy breezing out with no hard stop or turn. Trust me, your horses will thank you for teaching them to stretch out and run!

Join the large group of us planning to go south of the border next month. In true barrel racer fashion, I'm sure there will be racing and maybe some money to win. 😉

Minors MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian & have a signed release form provided by Pine Tree Stables.

Unlimited horses allowed but we were asked to provide an estimated head count a few days ahead of time. To keep it manageable and easy for every one, Venmo -Huddy to register.

I know most of y’all’s week ended in the long rounds; but, I’m so proud of each of you! Honestly you have all worked so hard to get here and you didn’t disappoint! You all are such an incredible group of people and I am so thankful to be your Director! You’ve all been an inspiration this past year. Not just to me, but so many others. I’ve watched you all band together to help so many times. For those who didn’t make it to Perry this year, I can’t wait to cheer for you next year!

To me, winners aren’t defined by how many short rounds you make. It’s how you handle yourself when you don’t make those go rounds. I know you will all go home and work even harder for 2027. Keep your heads up! I’m proud of you and I’m so proud to be your Director!

Huge thank you to each of the parents who brought their kid(s) to Georgia to compete for a world title. Your work and dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you parents for all you do!
