What do you do when your football-player-student’s representative can’t make it and Homecoming is 48 hours out?

Mrs. Wesson asks a CIS classmate if they’ll stand in.

Mrs. Diane loans her car and Mrs. Katie agrees to drive.

Ms. Heather finds a dress in the closet and some earrings and makes some posters.

And the beautiful Miya shows up looking radiant.

That’s just another day at CIS, and we have the best community supporting us in supporting students. Thank you for helping us make our kiddos feel special. 🖤 🦁 💛

Presence Has Privileges returned to Shelby High School-Home of the Golden Lions this morning! The four winners were Amelia Carson, Jamiyah Degree, our CIS student Tobias Bradford, and Cordelia Duncan (not pictured). We love surprising students who show up to school! 🦁

UPDATE: Need met! Thanks so much, everyone! We have the best community.

Friends, would anybody with a special convertible be willing to drive one of our students in the SHS Homecoming Parade this Friday? Plans fell through for one of our male students, so one of our female students has agreed to stand in, but now we’re coordinating details 36 hours out! If you’re willing to help, please message us!
