Leading up to the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the nation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 11, the eve of the solemnity of the Sacred Heart. Beginning today, Knights and their families are encouraged to pray a novena that concludes June 11. Visit kofc.org/america250 to learn more.

Archbishop Alexander Sample of Portland, Oregon, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee for Religious Liberty and a longtime Knight, recently spoke with Columbia about devotion to the Sacred Heart, the upcoming consecration of the United States and the role of religious liberty in American society. “Our hope is that greater charity will be exercised throughout our country, and that in the heart of Christ we will rediscover the unity that seems to be slipping away from us in today’s divisive culture,” he said. “That in the heart of Christ we will find ourselves to be friends again, even with those with whom we disagree.”

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.” — Matthew 28:19

In today’s Gospel, the risen Jesus sends His disciples on mission. Even in their uncertainty, He entrusts them with the work of sharing the Good News and baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

He does not send them alone. His promise is clear: “I am with you always.”

We are part of that mission today, called to witness to Christ in our homes, our communities, and the world.

🙏 Lord, give us courage to share Your truth and trust in Your presence every step of the way.

Happy Easter from the brothers of Council 11772.

“Why do you seek the living one among the dead? He is not here, but he has been raised.” — Luke 24:5–6

He is not here. He has risen! He has risen indeed!

Today we celebrate the victory of life over death, hope over despair, and love over sin.

Christ is risen, and because He lives, we have hope.

We wish you and your family an Easter season filled with blessings and joy.

Happy Easter! Alleluia! ✝️

Nie ma Go tutaj; zmartwychwstał” (Łk 24, 5-6).

Nie ma go tutaj. Zmartwychwstał. Prawdziwie zmartwychwstał Pan!

Dzisiaj świętujemy zwycięstwo życia nad śmiercią, nadziei nad rozpaczą, miłości nad grzechem.

Chrystus zmartwychwstał i to, że żyje, daje nam nadzieję.

Życzymy Wam i Waszym rodzinom radosnej, błogosławionej Wielkanocy.
Chrystus zmartwychwstał! Alleluja!

“My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet, not as I will, but as you will.” — Matthew 26:39

Today we enter into the Passion of the Lord. From the Upper Room to Gethsemane, from betrayal to the cross, we witness the depth of Christ’s love.

Jesus does not resist the Father’s will. He embraces it, even when it leads to suffering. In His silence before His accusers, in His forgiveness from the cross, we see love poured out completely.

Holy Week invites us to walk with Him. To remain near in prayer. To trust that even in darkness, God’s plan of salvation is unfolding.

🙏 Lord, give us the courage to follow You through the cross, trusting in the promise of the Resurrection.

The Knights of Columbus assumed corporate status in 1882, an anniversary recognized by more than 2.2 million men worldwide as Founder’s Day. Since then, the Knights of Columbus has followed Blessed Michael McGivney’s vision of bringing Catholic men together in brotherhood under its principles of Unity, Charity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. As Knights worldwide honor their founding today, we continue to pray for the canonization of the Order’s founder. Blessed Michael McGivney, pray for us!

At approximately 8 p.m. local time March 4, a drone struck McGivney House, a 140-unit apartment complex in Erbil, Iraq. Built in 2018 with help from the Knights of Columbus, the complex opened the following year to house Christian families displaced from the Nineveh Plains by persecution and violence carried out by the Islamic State group. The apartment building was unoccupied at the time of the strike, having been evacuated due to its proximity to Erbil International Airport.

“We will continue to stand with the families who called McGivney House their home,” said Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly in a statement to the press March 4. “We join with our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, who has encouraged us all to ‘pray for peace, work for peace.’”
