Most professionals tie their worth to output. Deals closed. Projects shipped. Inboxes emptied. We start believing everything depends on us.

John 21 offers powerful freedom from that lie.

The disciples fished all night and caught nothing. Then Jesus, who already had breakfast cooking on the shore, invited them to bring some of their fish. He didn’t need what they caught. He simply let them participate.

Your work is not a burden God depends on. It is a gracious invitation to join what He is already doing.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” (Colossians 3:23)

| Sticks and Stones Can Hurt - But So Can Words

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.”

Many of us grew up hearing this, yet we have learned the painful truth: words do hurt often deeply and for a long time.

In business settings, harsh words, demeaning comments, and cutting emails are far too common. Scripture gives us a better way:

“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” (Ephesians 4:29)
