We like to think of our rehabilitation project at 33 Parkview in Mount Clemens as bringing a grand lady back to life.

First, our beautiful duchess needed a pedicure—and Water Be Gone came to her rescue! Their team repaired the historic home’s foundation, installed interior drainage pipe, and addressed the leaks and water damage.

Next, every great lady needs a fabulous hat, right? The Roof Detective will completely replace the roof, including the wood, shingles, and gutters.

After hiding her beauty for years, 33 Parkview is preparing to become the belle of the ball once again. Over the next three months, we’ll be there to capture her transformation and keep you updated as her timeless beauty is restored. Stay tuned—this grand lady’s story is only beginning!

🎗️ October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Macomb County Habitat for Humanity stands with everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer. We honor the survivors, encourage those currently facing a diagnosis or treatment, support the families and caregivers walking beside them, and remember those we have lost.

Home is where we find strength, comfort, and the people who help us through life’s most difficult moments. This month—and always—we send our love and hope to every person affected by breast cancer. You are not alone. 💗

Today was very special at Macomb County Habitat.

We closed the store and focused on learning and service!

Tne morning involved role playing…learning how to stay professional in every scenario. Then Ann Bicengo from Macomb County’s Mental Health Department taught the staff about depression, anxiety, and su***de. That was truly interesting and helpful. There’s no shame in talking about mental illness. It’s no different than talking about any physical illness. And there are wonderful meds that can help!

No shame!

The afternoon was spent working as a team on our demo in Mt Clemens. We were joined by our videographer, Anthony, and by our newest board member, Kalyan Rachakonda.

What fun we had pulling up old flooring and carrying debris to our dumpster! There were many jokes, a ton of laughter, and a spirit of service!

While money was lost today in closing the store, clarity was gained! All of us from the warehouse team to the ReStore team to the admin. team are clear about our mission of homes, community and hope!

There was alot of dust, for sure! But there was also alot of love!

Join us anytime!
