Shout-out to our partner, Hidden River Eating Disorder Treatment, the first residential eating disorder treatment center to provide care in New Jersey for girls, adolescents, and young women aged 8 to 20 years old.

Their Emerging Young Adult & Mid-Life Adult Program is thoughtfully designed to support individuals ages 21+ who are navigating independence, relationships, identity, and major life transitions alongside eating disorder recovery.

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day — a day to honor those who have been lost and to recommit to care that sees the whole person. Substance use disorders and eating disorders co-occur at significantly elevated rates, and the mechanisms they share, such as compulsion, avoidance, shame, and the use of substances or behaviors to manage overwhelming distress, make integrated, whole-person treatment essential. Today, iaedp stands with the broader health community in that commitment.
