Around 4pm, Shelburne Fire Department responded to a water rescue with Gorham NH Fire & EMS at the Androscoggin River in Shelburne. A combined mutual aid swift water rescue team deployed Shelburne's rescue boat just below the Brookfield dam on North Road.

Crew members made contact with the stranded rafters and were able to safely shuttle them to waiting emergency personnel further down river.

We would like to thank Gorham Fire for their outstanding response with rescue equipment including a drone, a boat and manpower.
