As many of you know, I started Cuffs & Pups to honor my grandfather’s legacy while helping animals in need throughout our community. On July 18th, we’ll be hosting our Stuff the Cruiser event to collect donations for the Lorain County Dog Kennel, and I would love to see everyone there.

This isn’t just a donation drive. It’s a day to celebrate the bond we share with our pets and make a difference for dogs still waiting for their forever homes.

We’ll have activities for both kids and adults, including our Rainbow Bridge Corner where you can honor a pet you’ve lost, a Shelter Dog Wishing Tree where you can help make a shelter dog’s wish come true, and a board where adopters can share why they chose their best friend.

We’ll also have raffle baskets! 🎟️ Every donation earns raffle tickets for a chance to win. The more you donate, the more chances you have to win while helping dogs in need.

Whether you can bring a bag of food, a toy, a blanket, or simply stop by to show your support, every little bit helps.

🐾 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🚔🐾

Cuffs & Pups is looking for volunteers to help make our first-ever Stuff the Cruiser event a success!

🕚 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Sheffield Village Police Department

This event will benefit local shelter dogs by collecting donations of food, treats, toys, blankets, cleaning supplies, and other much-needed items. We’re also planning a fun day for families with activities, raffle baskets, community involvement, and more!

We’re looking for volunteers to assist with:
🐶 Event setup and cleanup
🐶 Greeting attendees
🐶 Collecting and organizing donations
🐶 Assisting with raffle baskets
🐶 Helping with children’s activities

Even if you can only spare an hour or two, your help would make a huge difference!

As Cuffs & Pups continues to grow, we’re excited to bring the community together to support local shelter animals, and we couldn’t do it without amazing volunteers.

🚨 END OF KENNEL WATCH 🚨

For R***r, today wasn’t just another day.

Today was the day he walked out of a kennel and into a home.

No more waiting. No more wondering. No more temporary stops along the way.

Today he gained a family, a couch to claim as his own, a yard to patrol, and a partner who is proud to stand beside him.

As a member of the Cuffs and Pups K-9 Unit, his responsibilities will include protecting the house, keeping watch over the neighborhood, investigating every strange sound at 3 a.m., and reminding us daily what loyalty truly looks like.

Welcome home, R***r. Your next chapter starts now. 🐾💙🚔

I know I took some time off and I needed it. But we’re back, and we’re back with purpose.

From May 1st–31st, Cuffs & Pups will be hosting a donation drive for the Lorain County Dog Kennel 🐾

We answer calls every day but this is one we don’t get to dispatch. This is one we choose.

These dogs don’t get a break. They don’t get to ask for help. They just wait for food, for comfort, for someone to give them a second chance.

We might not be able to change everything, but we can show up for them.

We’ll be collecting food, blankets, toys, and cleaning supplies all month long. Every single donation matters more than you think.
