Donations go toward the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund that is responsible for the memorial wall where Phil's name is engraved on.

We would like to thank the Tunnel to Towers Foundation for inviting us out to the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Medina yesterday. Phil was honored among many other heroes who have lost their lives in service of their country and community. The many donations and proceeds we earned from merchandise sales will go toward helping future Ohio law enforcement families. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this cause!

Last weekend, the foundation was invited to come out and play in the Dan Berry Memorial Golf Outing. We were represented well and yesterday, the Dan Berry Memorial Fund donated $12,000 to the foundation to help us with our current missions! We want to thank everyone involved and are beyond grateful for this incredible donation.

Join us, next Thursday, August 6th, at Trent's Joint on the River where Fraternal Order of Police, Lorain Lodge #3 will be the bartenders! The foundation will also be present to sell challenge coins and pass out free stickers. The Suckling Pig BBQ food truck will be there to serve any hungry patrons!

This afternoon, the foundation delivered a check to Chief Shows of the Rittman Police Department to give to Sgt. Scott Ries' family. This check was made possible by donors to the foundation and sponsors of our recent fundraising event. We will continue to host or be involved in local events to raise awareness and funds to further our mission. Donations and proceeds from fundraising events will go towards our Line of Duty Death Fund for fallen Ohio law enforcement and our LCCC Police Academy Scholarship.

While money cannot replace Sgt. Ries, it is the least we can do to show our appreciation and gratitude for his service and to help ease some of the financial burdens that losing a loved one brings.

Rest easy brother. We have it from here.

This past Friday, the foundation hosted a private memorial event to honor and remember Phil on the one year anniversary of his passing. This event could not have been possible without our sponsors and we would like to take a minute to recognize their contribution to the foundation and the Lorain Police Department family.

We would like to thank Todd Walsh, Rosalina Walsh, and The Cleveland Police Foundation for inviting us to the 2nd Annual Officer Down Softball Tournament yesterday, honoring Phil and helping support Phil's family. We are still new to this venture and trying to raise awareness about our foundation. It was an honor to be a part of this for the day. All proceeds and donations from yesterday are going directly to our Family Mission fund, which was designed to help take care of Phil's family.
