Our 8th graders had a fantastic night at NOAA’s Fall Fest with their bake sale! 🎉 Their hard work and enthusiasm made it a sweet success!

Our deepest gratitude goes to all the parents and guests who supported them, not only by purchasing their delicious treats but also by generously donating. Your kindness and support mean so much to our students!

🍂 What a wonderful Fall Fest at NOAA! 🍂😃

We had a FULL HOUSE last night at Northern Ohio Adventist Academy! Our hearts are full of gratitude for all our wonderful parents and the many churches represented. Thank you for joining us for an evening filled with fellowship, laughter, and, of course, some DELICIOUS chili! 🌶️🍲❤️

🏆 Congratulations to our Chili Contest winners! The Sanchez family, Mrs. Natalie, and Brother Pabon from First Hispanic SDA Church took home the first three places! Way to go! 👏🎉

🎨 A big thank-you to Mrs. Laila for adding extra fun to the evening by painting our children's little faces!

💙 Our special thanks to Sophia Rodriguez and the Home and School Association for all their hard work and dedication in organizing this wonderful event.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Revive SDA Church worship team for blessing us with their music and helping create such a joyful and uplifting atmosphere.

We are also incredibly grateful to our faithful teachers—Mrs. Jennifer, Mrs. Kathy, Ms. Laila, Ms. Daniella, and Mrs. Wanda—for their support and willingness to make this evening special for our school family.

Nights like these remind us how blessed we are to be part of a community where families, churches, and school come together in love and fellowship.

Our hearts rejoice when we see our alumni, students, and faculty members actively serving in their churches! ❤️🙏

Today, we were blessed to witness this beautiful reminder of how God continues to work through the lives of those who have been part of our school family at the Elyria Seventh-day Adventist Church.

At Northern Ohio Adventist Academy, we are more than a school family—we are part of a greater mission to show children Jesus, nurture their love for Him and others, teach them to think, and empower them to serve.

What a joy it is to see our school family continue to grow in faith and serve God wherever He leads!

🥺WHEN ONE SCHOOL MOURNS, WE ALL MOURN🙏

Some tragedies remind us how precious our children are, how deeply we depend on our school communities, and how important it is to care for one another.

Our Northern Ohio Adventist Academy family joins the grief of the students, families, and staff of Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, following the heartbreaking school shooting on October 15, 2026. Three children and one teacher lost their lives, and another child and teacher were injured. Our hearts ache for everyone affected by this devastating tragedy.

We cannot begin to imagine the pain these families are experiencing. We pray that God will surround them with His comfort, sustain them through the darkest moments, and bring healing to a community forever changed by this loss.

Our Commitment to Safety at NOAA

As a school family, this tragedy reminds us that the safety of our students and teachers must always remain a priority. At Northern Ohio Adventist Academy, we reaffirm our commitment to providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and experience the love of Jesus.

We continue to implement safety measures and make improvements to our school facilities, recognizing that protecting our children requires ongoing attention, preparation, teamwork, and prayer.

Schools Need Your Prayers and Partnership

We invite our NOAA families, church members, and the entire Sheffield Lake community to keep our students, teachers, staff, and school in your prayers. Please also pray for wisdom and discernment for those responsible for keeping our children safe.

School safety is not the responsibility of schools alone. It takes a caring and vigilant community working together to protect our children.

Report concerning activity or potential safety threats to the appropriate school officials or law enforcement. Never assume someone else will speak up. A timely report can make a difference.

May God protect our children in every school, strengthen educators, comfort grieving families, and guide us as we work together to make our schools safer places.
