Next Membership meeting is 9/9/2026 at 1 PM. (Show committee walk through at school is at 11 AM)

Presentation by: Trisha Frankland “Modern or not and who even cares?”
Trisha is from Lodi, Wisconsin and is an avid quilter, book geek, graphic artist and copy editor and writer. This presentation is an interactive discussion that addresses the difference between modern, contemporary, and traditional. We'll talk about art categories, quilting movements, labels, characterizations, and why it matters. Bring your quilts to review and discuss - this event sometimes replaces show and tell. More about Trisha and her creativity at

I was originally drawn to quilting by the amazing things that happen when two quilt blocks meet: those incredible secondary patterns that make a simple quilt zing.

💙 Sheboygan County Quilters Guild is grateful to have been able to support our neighbors affected by the Menasha tornado.

Our guild and Sonshine Stitchers from Ebenezer UCC donated 48 new and gently used quilts and blankets, 15 stuffed animals, 40 pillowcases, sheets, and 5 tarps to help provide comfort and practical support to those impacted by the storm.

🧵 The first wave of quilts, blankets, and other donated items was delivered with the help of Pathways Church Appleton, who helped get them to the Menasha Joint School District donation drive.

🧵 The second wave was delivered with the help of First United Methodist Church in Neenah, helping get additional quilts, blankets, and supplies to the Menasha Joint School District open houses this week.

We are incredibly thankful to all of our guild members who donated their time, materials, and talents to make this effort possible. We’re also grateful to Pathways Church, First United Methodist Church, and the Menasha School District for helping get these donations where they were needed.

This is what quilting—and community—is all about: making something with love and sharing that love when it’s needed most. ❤️🧵

Our thoughts continue to be with everyone affected by the tornado. We are honored that the Sheboygan County Quilters Guild could play a small part in helping our neighbors during this difficult time.

EDIT: August 12th, 7 PM is our next Guild meeting -
Teresa Locknane will be presenting a trunk show. She is a quilter, long-armer, pattern designer, and instructor from Wausau, Wisconsin. She sells her patterns under Red Spool Designs. Teresa absolutely LOVES color and print! She enjoys traditional piecing and scrap quilting, but her passion is collage quilting and teaching collage to students. She has exhibited and won awards in local quilt shows and has had work juried into The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show, the Cherrywood Challenge and Hoffman Challenge exhibits. Teresa will be bringing some of hers and her boss’s original patterns to sell
