SAVE THE DATE!

Sheboygan - this one's for all of us.

Homelessness and housing instability are growing challenges in our community. While many dedicated people and organizations are already working together to support our neighbors, there’s an opportunity to strengthen that coordination and build an even more connected community response.

Because addressing these challenges takes a village - and with everyone’s support, collaboration, and shared commitment, we can do more together.

Join us on October 22nd for a free screening of Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness - bringing together city and county government, local nonprofits, businesses, and neighbors to watch, talk, and start building a real, unified plan for Sheboygan.

This isn't just a movie. It's the start of something bigger - and we need YOU in the room.

📅 October 22nd | 📍 Weill Center | 🎟️ Free & open to all

❤️ Acuity has Heart❤️
Over the past two weeks Acuity volunteers have volunteered their time and talents to support our Emergency Lodge homeless shelter by deep cleaning and preparing meals. Today, a large team made 364 lunches for our shelter residents, putting a whole lot of heart into every single one.
THANK YOU!!!

The Day of Caring lasts one day, but the impact reaches so much further.

Today we made new friends from KOHLER, Rehlko, and Rockline Industries while peeling potatoes, chopping enough onions to bring on the tears, and making meals that will provide 200 servings.

They also rolled up their sleeves for some serious deep cleaning and organizing throughout our shelter and food pantry. That kind of care means so much to us because we are often just focused on getting through the day and taking care of the next need.

One day. So much accomplished. And an impact that will continue for days to come. We are so grateful! United Way of Sheboygan County

We're honored to share that our 45-bed Emergency Lodge homeless shelter has received a grant from the Green Bay Packer Foundation! This support helps us provides safe shelter, essential resources, and a pathway to permanent housing for many. Thank you to the Packers Foundation for investing in our community and helping us continue to make a difference!

This stellar team of volunteers from Acuity Insurance didn't hesitate to roll up their sleeves and deep clean our Emergency Lodge homeless shelter. What a way to start the week off helping others.

Tomorrow, we are starting a monthly teen Bible study group called Corps Cadets. This month, we'll look more closely at our identity. If you are a teen or know a teen who would like to study God's Word more deeply and grow in relationship with God, then come join us. We are meeting at noon following our morning Worship service. We will have lunch together and then explore God's Word on the topic of Identity.

Man of God! Thank you, for your Heart to God and Hand to Man!

Twenty-five years ago, Salvation Army responder Ken Tregellas left his family in Wisconsin and flew to New York to serve at Ground Zero.

As The Salvation Army’s Red Zone coordinator, he spent months caring for recovery workers and families searching for answers about their loved ones. He provided meals and places to rest, but also listened, offered prayer and helped people carry the weight of unimaginable loss.

Years later, Ken was diagnosed with cancer connected to his exposure at Ground Zero. When his children asked if he would make the same decision knowing the risks, his answer was simple: “I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It was an honor.”

Read Ken’s story and learn why he continues to share his experience 25 years later: https://www.foxnews.com/us/salvation-army-responder-opens-9-11-cancer-battle-phone-call-changed-life

We will have a family game night this Thursday, from 5-7 pm. We will have some organized board/card/action games, as well as our video game and Lego room will be open. We are also introducing our indoor archery range, come and hear about our new archery program that will be held during our family nights. Everything starts at 5 pm with a dinner (pizza) and devotion. Then, organized games with a demonstration of archery during the final half hour.

Sunday we will be hosting a monthly Bible Study for youth starting at noon. We hope to expand the program to include visiting other regional Salvation Army’s so teens can fellowship with other teens interested in knowing God more deeply.

Last, but not least… we are looking for brass band members who would like to practice playing brass music. We hope to grow some leadership and start a local music school in the new year.

You can register by sharing your interest at our website or sending us a message through messenger. God bless!
