Step into story time and get creative with us at Bookworm Gardens! 🌻

Inspired by the children’s book The Secrets of the Cornhusk Doll by T.J. Arias, this hands-on family workshop invites children and grown-ups to explore the traditions, stories, and creativity behind corn husk dolls.

Together, we’ll make our own beautiful dolls while discovering themes of community, empathy, identity, courage, and resilience. 💛🌱

September is Membership Month at Bookworm Gardens, a month to celebrate the members who help our Gardens grow. 🙌

Throughout September, members can enjoy 15% off in the Nature Gift Shop, pick up an exclusive koi sticker while supplies last, and receive a Bookworm Gardens tote bag when upgrading to a Sustaining or Visionary membership.

We’re also inviting members to linger a little longer during Golden Hours on September 3 and gather for the New Garden Celebration on September 10.

It grows through muddy hands, a closer look at something small, a favorite story discovered outdoors, and the freedom to follow curiosity wherever it leads. 🦋

đź“Ł The Livermore Loop is now open!

A new path is waiting to be explored at Bookworm Gardens. This half-mile loop offers a chance to experience a new part of our expanded natural property, with room to slow down, take in the seasons, and enjoy the landscape in a different way.

The Loop is open daily from sunrise to sunset, year-round, and free for all to enjoy. Parking is available in the UW–Green Bay Sheboygan Campus lot at the Acuity Technology Center, with a short walk to the Loop entrance.

As you walk, look for the Wisconsin Historical Society's “Thinking Big Is What We Do” History Walk, on display through February 2027.
