Jericho Ministries Jericho Ministries began as a result of a desire from God placed in the heart of a missionary to reach out to those trapped in prostitution.

Jericho Ministries is a non-profit organization located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras that, through God's grace and power, helps set the captives free from lives of darkness and sin. The ministry began very simply with evening visits to a high prostitution area in Tegucigalpa, Honduras where coffee and truths about freedom in Jesus were shared while sitting together on the curbside. Once the women bega

n to trust Christ with their lives, it became clear that they needed help finding jobs which would allow them to work with dignity and integrity. Out of that need was born the sewing workshop of Jericho. The “rescued women” were discipled in the ministry and learned job skills while participating in the rescue of their friends still trapped in prostitution. Later the increasing burden to reach their children became the impetus for starting our schools and family homes with the vision to enable these children to lead lives that glorify God, thus breaking the generational chains of prostitution, sexual abuse, and various addictions that have plagued their families for generations.

What a blessing it was to host our last team of the summer this past week!

We had so much fun getting to know our new friends from Wisconsin. One of the highlights of their time here was seeing them pray and sing “The Blessing” over our kids, surrounding them in prayer and reminding them of how deeply they are loved.

It’s such a joy to see people so passionate about Jesus and to watch them share His love with our kids.

So thankful for Sundays and the opportunity to worship God together! 🙏🏼

A look back at last week with the MLC Mission team. 🙌🏼
MLC has been visiting us for a couple of years now, and they’ve truly become family to us. The way they love on our kids is something else. From pool days to the talent show, and even a Quinceañera celebration! It was such a beautiful week. We already can’t wait for you all to come back next year.
