We have some exciting news! To kickstart our new programming, Safe Harbor is inviting the community to a series of A Window Between Worlds (AWBW) art workshops. For three weeks in July, trauma-informed art workshops are held in spaces beyond our walls. The theme of these workshops focuses on creating safe spaces within our community. All workshops are family friendly. Registration is encouraged (copy and paste link): https://forms.gle/RZ3UQp7zEnxtwZNy7
Workshop Descriptions
Week 1: At the Core Community Mural Project
This workshop gives participants a chance to deeply and mindfully connect to and explore their core wounds, patterns, needs, values, and identities, and connect with others by working together to create a mural that tells their stories and aims to raise public awareness and inspire transformation in their community.

Week 2: Helping Hands, Healing Hands Community Mandala Project
This workshop gives participants an opportunity to explore what a "healthy and safe" community looks like through the creation of a hand collage that symbolizes their vision for that community. The individual collage hands will then become part of a larger mandala, which aims to convey that collectively, our hands can help and heal.
