Shawnee German-American Club

Shawnee German-American Club A German-American heritage club that creates bonds of friendship amongst members while participating in community and social events.

The purpose of the Shawnee German-American Club is to promote a consciousness and appreciation for the German heritage, to further the social interests of its members, and to create a bond of friendship among the members. The Club’s functions include social and community activities and are open to all persons willing to support the German-American Club’s purpose. The Club is neutral in matters of politics and religion and was founded in June, 2003.

The Lutheran High School student travel group is in need of some help at the KC Bier Oktoberfest at Crown Center this year, specifically 11 slots on Saturday (Oct 4) afternoon/evening that the group is unable to staff at present.

The money goes to the Spain 2026 and Germany 2027 student travelers (both groups are working this year). Anyone who can work would also get a free ticket to attend Oktoberfest on Friday, and a free volunteer T-shirt.
