Due to the incoming rain the Woodland Park Homeowners Association Board is moving the Special Meeting to Elect a Board of Directors to our back up date and time per the letter below.

As the election is not a legal document such as the Bylaws or Restriction, a mailed or emailed ballot is valid for voting for the board of directors.

Dear Woodland Park Homeowner:
The Woodland Park Homes Association will conduct a Special Meeting to Elect a Board of Directors on Tuesday June 17 at 6:30 PM at the Woodland Park Homeowners Association Park at the intersection of 64th Street and Roundtree to vote to elect a Board of Directors.

In case of inclement weather the Special Meeting to Elect a Board of Directors will be moved to Wednesday June 18 at 6:30 PM at the Woodland Park Homeowners Association Park

The meeting will be conducted for the purpose to select and elect members to serve on the association’s Board of Directors. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please fill out the nomination form and return it to a Board member or Home Association Solutions, LLC at P.O. Box 26145, Overland Park, KS 66225. You may also email your nomination to [email protected].

The Woodland Park Homes Association’s Special Meeting to elect a Board of Directors has been scheduled for June 17, 2025 at the Woodland Park Homeowners Association Park on the intersection of 64th Street and Roundtree. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM.

In case of inclement weather the Special Meeting to elect a Board of Directors will be moved to Wednesday June 18, 2025 at 6:30PM at the Woodland Park Homeowners Association Park

A quorum of 74 residents is required to conduct the vote. Your attendance would be most appreciated. If you cannot attend, please send a signed proxy to Home Association Solutions at [email protected] or mail to Home Association Solutions at PO Box 26145 Overland Park, KS 66225. You may also give it to someone who will be in attendance.

Annual Meeting & Special Meeting UPDATE #2

Woodland Park Homeowners, after several phone calls and emails from homeowners and awaiting the attorney on addressing the issues on the Amended and Restated Declaration of Restrictions, which the last post was asking for votes, the Board is suspending all activity on requesting votes at this time.

It is not likely that a rewrite can be completed in time to have a special meeting, which requires a minimum of 10 days’ notice to have a discussion and vote on the Amended and Restated Declaration of Restrictions. On that note, the current Declaration of Restrictions dated July 2007 will remain in effect until the next opportunity to amend them in May 2027.

Once the Board hears from the attorney and we have new Amended and Restated Declaration of Restrictions and a new Amended and Restated Declaration, a special meeting notification will be mailed out.

Also at this special meeting we will attempt to complete an election vote for the 2025-2026 Board. So if you are interested in being a board member here is your opportunity.

Again, at the special meeting we will attempt to have a vote on the Amended and Restated Bylaws.

I am sorry for any confusion as our attempt was to have a new Declaration of Restrictions as soon as possible as many folks want sheds and other items of note.

12.06.230 - Maintenance of Sidewalks; Snow Ice, and Debris Removal.
The owner or occupant of property abutting upon any Sidewalk shall maintain the Sidewalk abutting such property free of objects or items that present a hazard to the safety of Persons, by reason of location or condition, or which obstruct the free passage of pedestrian traffic. The owner or occupant of property abutting upon or adjacent to a Sidewalk within the City shall remove snow and ice from the Sidewalk abutting upon or adjacent to their property within forty-eight (48) hours after the same shall cease to fall or accumulate, or otherwise correct the hazard by the application of abrasive material.

Woodland Park trash pickup delayed to Friday January 10, 2025.
