This weekend's cold temps couldn't stop us! Troop 358 went out to Camp Naish and had a great time. We camped at South Camp and we were truly impressed.

The older scouts went out on a 10 mile hike to prepare for their High Adventure trip this summer. The rest of the troop hiked about 5.5 miles. They all packed almost the same things, a personal first aid kit, 2 liters of water, snacks, extra layers, and their lunch.

When they got done, they got some great help from our adult leaders on some rank advancement after building a warm fire! Everyone cooked a nice warm dinner.

Camp Naish is such a treasure.

The scouts finished up the Law Merit badge last night. They held a mock trial at a real courthouse. Scouts were given a court case to study for two weeks and make preparations. Each scout had an important role they filled. We were very fortunate to have a merit badge counselor who is very familiar with the law. Thanks goes out to everyone who helped make this happen.

Last weekend we had great weather and great camping with the troop at Hollis! We invited pack 3050, Webelos and AOLs to join us

The scouts made a terrific campfire and cooked a lot of good food. Everybody had fun on the afternoon hike. We really enjoy our Thanksgiving campout tradition!

This morning we gathered our high adventure Scouts to do a shakedown run at Shawnee mission Park. We hiked 6.3 mi in 2 hours & 15 minutes. Everybody brought personal first aid kits and enough water and snacks to start learning what they will need when they go to the Colorado mountains this summer!
