Simmons Family Reunion in Butler, Missouri News for 2015 reunion of descendants of Reuben and Hester Simmons A cemetery still exits on the property where at least six of the family are buried.

From the 1860’s until 1916, Reuben and Hester Simmons homesteaded 400 acres and ran a sawmill, two miles south of Butler . They had 9 children, Eliza, Asol, David Ira, William Harvey, Thomas Cornelius, Ervin, Mary Elizabeth, Reuben Green and Charles Randolph.
