🐾 A heartfelt thank you to the Pet Ministry at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church!❤️

A few Saturdays ago, members of their church stopped by The Ranch, took a tour and learned more about our history, our mission and the senior dogs we’re so fortunate to care for.

They left inspired by what they saw — and recently blessed us with a $250 sponsorship for Toby! 🥹🐶

Support like this means so much to a small rescue like ours. It helps us provide the care, comfort and second chances our senior dogs deserve while they wait for their FURever HOMES.

And speaking of FURever HOMES… Toby is still waiting for his! This sweet 14-year-old Lab mix is a calm, gentle guy who enjoys the simple things in life — sunshine, naps, soft beds and spending time with his people.

🎉🐾 GRIFFIN GOT ADOPTED! 🐾🎉

At 15 years old, Griffin has officially found his happily FURever after—and it turns out, he was already home. 🤍

His wonderful foster parents, Jay and Denise of Shawnee, fell in love with this sweet, frosted-face gentleman and decided to make him a permanent member of their family!

Griffin now has everything we could have hoped for: a house with a fenced yard, someone home with him most of the time, neighbor kids he adores and a dog brother named Thunder—who was also adopted from The Ranch!

In Denise’s words: “We’ve been fostering Griffin and fell in love with him. He’ll get all the love and care he deserves!”

Nothing makes us happier than a foster family realizing their foster dog was meant to stay. Congratulations, Griffin, Jay, Denise and Thunder! We wish your family so much happiness together. 💙

🐾 Freshly bathed. Looking handsome. Still a little grumpy. Arlo is READY. 😂🛁

Our favorite opinionated old gentleman enjoyed a little spa day this week and is officially fresh, clean and FURever-home ready!

Now, did Arlo stay for the full spa experience? Absolutely not. 😂 He politely declined the blowout services and opted for the air-dried, au naturel look instead. Very on-brand for a guy who knows exactly what he does—and does NOT—want.

At 12 years old, Arlo knows what he likes: a quiet home, lots of naps, leisurely walks, treats, personal space and a human who understands that affection happens on Arlo time. He needs an adults-only home with no other pets and someone who will appreciate him exactly as he is.

And somehow, underneath all that grumble, this quirky guy has completely won over our volunteers. ❤️

Adoption would be the dream, but fostering would be pretty wonderful, too. A calm foster home would give Arlo the chance to enjoy the comforts of home while we keep searching for his perfect FURever match.

He’s clean. He’s (mostly) dry. His bags are metaphorically packed.

Now we just need his person. 🐾💛

Join us Saturday, September 19 from 10a–1p at Topgolf Overland Park for a morning of friendly competition, great food and FUN — all while supporting the senior dogs of Imagine FURever Ranch. ❤️

No golf skills required! Topgolf’s climate-controlled bays make this a tournament everyone can enjoy, whether you’re a seasoned golfer or your swing is more ruff than refined. 😂

🛁🐾 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE RANCH: ARLO GOT A BATH! 🐾🛁

A HUGE thank you to the amazing crew at Kansas City Grooming Academy for spending time with our pack today and getting everyone cleaned up, trimmed up and feeling fabulous! 💙

And on their third visit to The Ranch since Arlo joined us… the stars finally aligned. ARLO. GOT. A. BATH. 😂🎉

For a guy who has apparently considered grooming services strictly optional, this feels like a pretty big milestone. We’re happy to report he survived the indignity — and is now considerably fresher for it. 😉

Thank you, KC Grooming Academy, for your patience, kindness and generosity with our senior pups. Having friends in our community who give their time and talents to care for our pack means so much to us. 🐶❤️

💙 More than a year of waiting. One really good boy. And one thing still missing: his FURever. 💙

Conrad has been part of the Imagine FURever Ranch family since June 2025. Thankfully, this handsome 9-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer is currently settled into a wonderful foster home, where he’s safe, comfortable and very loved. Now we’d love to make sure his next move is his last one. 🏡🐾

Conrad is an easy-going gentleman who enjoys life at a slower pace. He loves leisurely walks, sunny naps, people of all ages, other dogs and—perhaps most importantly—tennis balls. 🎾 Hide them if you must. Conrad will find them.

He is a special-needs senior with Cushing’s disease, a Grade 5 heart murmur and mild arthritis. His conditions require ongoing veterinary care and medication, so his adopter will need to be prepared for that commitment. But spend a little time with Conrad and you’ll quickly understand why we say he is worth every extra step. ❤️

After more than a year of waiting, we want Conrad to know what it feels like to be home for good—with someone who looks at that sweet, silver-flecked face and can’t imagine life without him.

🐾 PSA: Your Saturday could use more dogs. 🐾

Good news—we can help with that. 😏

The Ranch is open today from 10a–2p, and our pack is ready for company. Come wander the property, meet some of our senior residents, hand out a few scratches, and experience firsthand why Saturdays are one of our favorite days of the week.

💛 Sammy has been waiting since May 2025. It’s time for his “foster” home to become a stepping stone to FURever. 💛

For more than a year, Sammy has been part of the Imagine FURever Ranch family. Thankfully, he’s spending his days in a wonderful foster home where he is safe, comfortable and very loved. But there’s still one thing missing:

A family to call his very own. 🏡

At 12 years young, Sammy has his priorities figured out. He loves his routines. He appreciates a good treat. And one of his absolute favorite things is climbing onto the couch and settling in for a nap with his person. 🛋️🐾

He isn’t looking for someone to completely change his world. He’s looking for someone willing to simply make him part of theirs.

After more than a year of waiting, we would LOVE to finally write the post that says:

🎉 SAMMY FOUND HIS FURever! 🎉

🏡 Fostered. Loved. Still waiting for FURever. 🐾

Remember our always-smiling, tail-wagging Tommy? This happy little guy has settled into a wonderful foster home, where he’s getting to enjoy all the comforts of home life while he waits for the one thing he still needs:

A family to call his own. ❤️

Tommy is about 5 years old and 30 pounds of pure happiness. He’s friendly, social, dog-friendly, and seems to approach just about everything with a wagging tail and that signature Tommy smile.

We’ve watched him shine out in the community, too. He joined us for the Old Shawnee Days Parade, happily walking part of the route, greeting people along the way, and charming pretty much everyone he met. This boy LOVES people—and people seem to love him right back!

His foster home is giving Tommy a wonderful place to land, but fostering is only the bridge. FURever is the destination.
