We are incredibly grateful for the partnership and generosity of Shawnee Beauty College and their amazing team. They have committed to providing a full year of free haircut services for every participant who walks through our doors, a gift that restores confidence, dignity, and a sense of self‑worth for the people we serve.

The incredible team at Higginbotham Bros. & Co. LLC right here in Shawnee, OK is absolutely amazing!

A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to them for their incredibly generous donation of 25 GALLONS of paint for Caring Collective! Not only are they supplying the paint to help bring our space to life, but they are also taking the time to explore our other needs as we gear up for our launch.

We are extremely grateful to have compassionate, local partners like Higginbotham Bros. who step up to help us continue this vital process. This mission is built on community, and your support is making a massive impact!

Behind the scenes at Caring Collective, the energy is electric! As we pull out all the stops to prepare for our official launch on August 1st, our team is diligently working on finalizing our applications, policies, and procedures to build a rock-solid foundation for our community. We are incredibly excited and deeply moved by the incredible support we’ve received, and continue to receive, every single day. Your support is what makes this mission possible! We truly cannot do this without you. 🙌 The word is out, and we are absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude! 💙

💛 Donor Impact Update

We were excited to be interviewed by KOCO yesterday about Oklahoma’s new foster care bill, a huge step forward for young adults aging out of care. It’s encouraging progress for our state and for the youth we serve.

But this new law does not replace the work we will do at Caring Collective.

Your support is still critical.
Your giving provides safe housing, life‑skills training, and the wraparound care these young men rely on every single day.

The bill opens the door…your generosity helps them walk through it. 💛

For many of Oklahoma's foster youth, support ends when they turn 18. A new law would extend that help until they turn 21.

💛 HELP US PAINT HOPE! 💛

We’re getting the dorms ready for our August 1 launch, and we need a little help from our amazing community!

We’re looking for paint + painting supplies to help us create a warm, welcoming space for the young men we’ll be serving.

If you or a local vendor would like to support Caring Collective, we would be so grateful! All donations are tax‑deductible, and we will gladly provide the necessary paperwork.

Had a great initial meeting with Kelley, Director of Caring Collective, the group working to provide transition housing and mentoring for aged out foster children at the former St Gregory's college. We will, of course, provide any primary medical care they might need, for free, or help any way we can.
We look forward to meeting with the whole group to explore what they might need going forward. What a great mission!
