Kindness looks different in every community, but its impact can be felt everywhere.

Behind GivingTuesdayMilitary are real people who have chosen to show up, give back, and make a difference. Julie Moser, a Fort Hood chapter ambassador, delivered care bags to breast cancer patients. Her reminder: acts of kindness, big or small, are just as important.

Kindness starts with you.

A check-in with someone who’s been quiet lately. A thank-you to someone whose work often goes unnoticed. A helping hand when a neighbor needs it. These moments may feel small, but they can make someone feel seen, supported, and connected.

That’s the heart of GivingTuesdayMilitary: bringing people together through kindness and inspiring others to do the same.
GivingTuesday is December 1, but kindness season is already underway. Now is the time to think about what you could do where you live—and who you could invite to join you.

Want to help lead the way? Become a GivingTuesdayMilitary ambassador. Ambassadors bring their base, unit, or neighborhood together to lead acts of kindness on GivingTuesday. Your project can be simple. What matters is showing up and inviting others to be part of it.

In 2019, three military spouses from three different branches asked a simple question: what if the military community showed up for kindness the way it shows up for everything else?

We met as 2019 Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year branch winners. Maria Reed (Army), Jessica Manfre (Coast Guard) and Samantha Gomolka (National Guard). We set a goal that sounded a little wild: 1 million acts of kindness on GivingTuesday.

You took it and ran.

Last season, GivingTuesdayMilitary ambassadors led kindness in all 50 states, Guam, Puerto Rico and 5 more countries, and 41 governors issued proclamations recognizing the day. Blessing bags for veterans shelters. Thank-you bags for postal workers. Kindness clubs in schools. Blood drives. Cards for Veterans Last Patrol. Small acts that added up to something huge.

Today, year eight officially begins. 🎉

Kindness season starts NOW, and ambassador registration is open. Ambassadors rally their base, unit or neighborhood and lead acts of kindness on GivingTuesday, December 1.

Three of us started it. You made it a movement. This year, it's your turn.

Twenty-five years ago, our country changed forever.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the service members who answered the call in the years that followed.
But we also remember what happened after.

People showed up for one another. Neighbors became community. Strangers helped strangers. In the middle of unimaginable heartbreak, we were reminded just how powerful kindness, courage, service, and unity can be.

At Inspire Up, we believe remembrance is also about what we choose to carry forward.

Show up.
Serve.
Choose kindness.
Take care of one another.
Be the good someone else needs today.

Twenty-five years later, we remember. We honor. And we continue to serve.

Never forget. 🇺🇸

Help us build Kindness Cottages for military kids! 💪🇺🇸🫶🏠

Want to help us do something really fun for military kids?

We have the chance to sponsor and build playhouses for military kids through Habitat for Humanity, and we need to raise $3,500 to make it happen.

Military kids give up a lot friends, schools, routines, bedrooms, communities. So we love the idea of giving them a little space that’s just theirs.

If our community came together and everyone chipped in a little, we could knock this out. $10, $25, $50 it all helps.

Every bit gets us closer.
