A few weeks later and we're still reminiscing on our closing dinner with the 2026 Kateri Crew!

Our closing dinner was filled with favorite memories, lots of laughter, summer videos, and great food! Extra shout-out to Primal Eats for being one of our staff's favorite places to eat during the summer -- and for sponsoring this special meal for us!

We will continue to unpack all the summer memories in the weeks and months ahead, but until then ... this is goodnight and not goodbye!

The gratitude for our 100th summer keeps rolling with a huge THANK YOU to our campers!

You all bring so much joy, wonder, and energy to camp! We loved getting to know each and every one of you. We pray that your school year is fruitful and cannot wait to welcome you back next summer!

Another HUGE thank you goes out to all the priests and deacons who supported our ministry this summer!

Over the summer, we welcomed numerous Diocesan and Norbertine Priests to celebrate Mass, hear confessions, and provide support for our staff. Many of these priests visited while their own students were at Camp so they could encourage and be part of their Camp experience. Local deacons supported our weekly adoration evenings!

Extra shout-out to Father Michael Thiel, Father Zach Weber, and Deacon Todd Raether for additional presence through men's groups and spiritual direction for our staff.

We are grateful for their presence at Camp this summer to help bring our campers and counselors closer to Christ!

We are shouting a great big THANK YOU to our wonderful nurses who joined us at Camp this summer!

Each week, we have two volunteer nurses join us on-site to help care for our campers. They help ice injuries, administer meds, care for sick campers, and serve as an extra comforting presence around Camp. We are so grateful for each of their love and care as they serve in many different ways.

To McIntire, Moo, Scrubs, Shutter, and beyond, we thank each and every one of you! 💥

This summer would not be possible without our amazing staff! Thank you 2026 Kateri Crew for pouring so much love into the campers and leading them closer to Christ! From late nights to organizing games to leading prayer, they do so much each and every day to support all campers.

We have a long gratitude list as we process the incredible summer of 2026!

Our team was blessed to welcome more than 1,400 young people and their families into the mission of camp through residential camp, day camp, and family camp options over the past three months. It has been an abundant summer rich in sunshine and laughter and joyful memories - a summer fully ALIVE!

Each week, campers got the unique opportunity to soak up the beauty of God's great creation while having blessed fun, growing in irreplaceable friendships, and getting to know the Lord more personally.

Honestly, where else can you ...
- jump in the lake every single day
- be free to be silly and joyful and truly yourself
- spend time in front of Jesus to start and end each day
- witness counselors (role models) who help you feel seen, known, and loved daily
- laugh more than you talk

During this 100TH YEAR, we can't help but think about all the directors, summer staffers, and families who have experienced the joys of Camp over our longstanding history. We are here because others have seen and believe in the impact of camp, continuing the mission for us today.

Thank you to all past and present families who have entrusted us with this great and important responsibility of providing a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for young people to grow closer to Christ. It is a gift that we do not take lightly, and we thank God for another summer of blessings!
