Shawano County 4-H What a great place to make friends and work together for the good of our community! In its early years, 4-H was a program just for farm kids.

TODAY 4-H is for EVERYONE!!! Kids in town can enjoy 4-H as much as youth in the country. The majority of 4-H members do not live on farms but in towns and cities. Members have the opportunity to enroll in projects in a wide variety of areas. Examples include shooting sports, robotics, arts and crafts, pets, creative writing, small engines, entomology, horse, dairy, and livestock.

One day left to register for this event happening at Clintonville High School, this Saturday, October 17th from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Youth and Adults alike are invited to attend!

New this year!! Waupaca County and Shawano County 4-H are teaming up to host a Leadership Day & Fall Kick Off on Saturday, October 17 from 9:00 am - 11:30 am, followed by lunch. The next big snowball effect could start with you! 💙✨

At Winter Leadership Camp 2027, you'll discover how one idea, one friendship, or one act of leadership can grow into something amazing, just like a snowball rolling down a hill! Join other teens from across 10 Wisconsin counties for a weekend filled with leadership, fun, challenges, and unforgettable memories.

The cost of the weekend is $185, and Shawano County 4-H members can apply for a scholarship to cut that rate in half.

📅 Mark your calendars! Join us for Beyond Wisconsin: Exploring the Midwest!

Between February 11-15, 2027, youth in grades 6-8 will travel to St. Louis, Missouri and experience fun, learning, and cultural discovery.

Participants can experience:
🍀 Science museums
🍀 Art centers
🍀 Live music and performances
🍀 Local food

We celebrated a fantastic year of 4-H together at the Shawano County 4-H Fall Fun Fest yesterday, held at the Shawano County Park Pavilion. Over 100 youth and adults joined together for lunch, a community service project, snack drive for hungry kids, BINGO games, and to recognize the achievements of youth and adults in the program. Thank you all the individuals, families, and clubs who made this day a success!
