Our AFSA Chapter 377 was extremely proud to have put on such an event today! TSgt Wildman and SSgt Pridgen did such an amazing job! Our previous Chapter President, MSgt Prusinski completed all 24 hours which was a true testament to his strength and support for those still missing!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support and we look forward to honoring these missing men and women next year again🎉🎉

Check this awesome opportunity out as we approached POW/MIA Recognition Week 📣📣

The AFSA Division 2 POW/MIA Remembrance Campaign is live for the month of September!

We are offering:

1 year $30 all ranks/types

2 years $50 all ranks/types

3 years $75 all ranks/types

All completed applications must be sent to [email protected] and received in Headquarters prior to October 1, 2025. Also, do not send anyone to the AFSA website as the special rates will not be on the site

📣📣AFSA Chapter 377 will be hosting our Annual POW/MIA 24-Hour Vigil! It will commence on the Air Force’s Birthday, September 18th at 1000L at the Shaw AFB Memorial Lake Park! The event will continue until the September 19th at 1000L. Everyone with base access is welcome to sign-up! Food, snacks, and beverages will be provided 📣📣

A new shelter has officially passed inspection in Sumter 🎉 and is ready to welcome guests on 29 August.
Help us finish strong!

We need volunteers to assist with:
✔️ Cleaning inside and outside (construction debris & yard overgrowth) ✔️ Deep cleaning and bed setup
✔️ Organizing kitchen and shelter items ✔️ Cleaning tiny houses ✔️ Moving office furniture

🗓️ Dates: Now through 28 August
🕗 Time: Monday–Friday | 0800–1600L
📍 Location: 36 Artillery Dr., Sumter, SC

🍽️ Sumter United Ministries – Meal Calendar

Congratulations to our Vice President, TSgt Greggria Sylvester, on this amazing accomplishment. She was awarded with the 2025 AFA Medal of Merit for her outstanding work bridging our orgs together. She took on the huge but rewarding task of assisting with the Patriots W2 5K Sumter SC alongside with Chief (Retired) CheRenea Moye, Col (Retired) Hanson, Claremont Masonic Lodge No. 64 AFM Hidden Wounds and the amazing YMCA of Sumter team. She continues to strive to do as much as she can to make sure the community and the Airman of Shaw AFB have ample opportunities to get out there and help any way they can. Great job TSgt Sylvester 🎉🎉
