πŸΎβ„οΈ A Message from K9 Dilly β„οΈπŸΎ

Hey everyone, K9 Dilly here πŸ•β€πŸ¦Ί

With a winter storm and dangerously cold temperatures expected this weekend, I wanted to remind all pet owners to take a few extra steps to keep their animals safe:

β€’ Please bring pets indoors when temperatures drop

β€’ Ensure any outdoor animals have adequate shelter, dry bedding, and fresh (unfrozen) water

β€’ Watch for ice, snow, and road salt, which can irritate paws

β€’ And don’t forget a little extra love and warmth goes a long way 🐾

While Kingston Township Officers are out working in the cold to keep the community safe, your pets rely on you for protection from the elements. Let’s make sure all members of our community including the four-legged ones stay safe during this storm.

Stay safe and stay warm,

K9 Dilly

❄️ Winter Weather Advisory – Northeast PA ❄️

This weekend is shaping up to bring frigid temperatures and accumulating snow across Northeast Pennsylvania, with meteorologists calling for snow from Saturday into Sunday and dangerously cold wind chills.

KTPOA members ask everyone in our community to please plan ahead and take precautions:

Limit unnecessary travel during the storm

Slow down and increase following distance if you must be on the roads.

Dress in layers and limit time outdoors.

While many are staying warm at home, police officers, EMS, firefighters, and public works crews will be out around the clock responding to calls and keeping our roadways and neighborhoods safe often in harsh and unforgiving conditions.

Please do not park on the roadways overnight, during the storm, or 8 hours after (per Township ordinance).

Your patience and cooperation during winter storms truly make a difference. Together, we can help keep everyone safe.

Stay warm, stay safe, and look out for one another this weekend. πŸ’™πŸš”β„οΈ
