Summer programs are in full swing at the Central California Adaptive Sports Center!

Participants have been hiking, fishing, exploring Shaver Lake by kayak and paddleboard, and enjoying time in the mountains with friends and family. We have welcomed participants and their families from across California, while also hosting participants from Kaweah Health Medical Center and Veterans through our partnership with the VA Medical Center.

We look forward to many more adventures on the lake and in the mountains throughout the summer season.

❄️ That’s a wrap on winter season! ❄️

From first tracks to final turns, this season was filled with unforgettable moments on the mountain. We skied, snowshoed, and explored the foothill trails alongside a community of participants, volunteers, staff, and supporters.

This album is a collection of the moments we didn’t want to miss—smiles, breakthroughs, fresh powder days, and everything in between. Each photo represents what adaptive outdoor recreation is all about: access, confidence, and connection.

On Saturday, February 28, the Central California Adaptive Sports Center and our supporters hit the slopes in costume to celebrate Adaptive Sports Awareness Day at China Peak. We raised funds and awareness for adaptive sports, played games, and enjoyed accessible outdoor spaces. It was a gorgeous day on the mountain.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, purchased raffle tickets, or supported the day in any way. A special thank-you to Steven Jolly, AIF, from Ford Financial Group for sponsoring this event.

Adaptive Sports Awareness Fundraiser is Saturday, February 28 at China Peak Mountain Resort.

Sign up and receive a discounted lift ticket ($45). Spend the day on the mountain, take part in the costume contest, receive pizza and raffle tickets for a chance to win great prizes, all while supporting awareness for adaptive sports.

All proceeds fund year-round adaptive sports programs for persons with disabilities.

Cannot make it to the mountain? You can still participate. Bid in our online auction or create your own personal fundraising page and raise funds from home.

Is China Peak open? Then so are we.

We offer programs five days a week whenever the mountain is operating.

In addition to providing programs to groups such as Valley Children’s Hospital, Valley Center for the Blind, the VA Medical Center, and other organizations, we also offer year-round programs to individual participants.
