Local Indians For Education American Indian Education and Cultural Preservation Local Indians for Education is one of 23 American Indian Education Centers in California.

LIFE Center works with American Indian Families, Local and Community Organizations, Community Projects, Local School Districts, City and County Agencies. LIFE Center provides Cultural enrichment classes such as Basket Making, Beading, Drumming, Dance Regalia making, and works with our elders. We provide Academic enrichment after school programs in which our staff provides tutoring, and Cultural En

richment classes. LIFE has been in the Shasta Lake area for over 37 years. LIFE provides training for employment, LIFE has a Indian Art and Design Shop where American Indian Artist sells and diplays their Native Art. LIFE collaborates with many agencies, Tribal Organizations and has developed many collaborative with youth groups, and provides different activities for Indian and non-Indian youth in the North State. Life provides Cultural Enrichment presentations in schools in the North State.
