Armed Forces Mission AFM is a Veteran led and Community supported organization focused on the elimination of su***de in the communities we serve. Intervention Saves Lives!

But few people ever ask THE QUESTION. Those that are trained, do! At AFM, we train people to save people. Our workshops feature world-class curriculum taught by experienced Master Trainers. More than 21,000 community caregivers have gained skills to courageously intervene for others through AFM's Intervene Challenge. AFM provides Donors, Volunteers, and Advocates a platform to eradicate su***de an

SGT John D.R. Toombs, 32

On 11-23-2016, John took his own life at the Alvin C York V.A. In Murfreesboro Tn after being kicked out of the MHRRTP treatment program for trivial reasons.
He made a video prior to his death, revealing how Veterans and himself were being mistreated. It went viral, and help bring about change to the program.
