Fellow Congregants, here's the message that's been sent into our community.

“Feed My Lambs” … No Kid Goes Hungry in Our Town!
The Summer Food Program for twenty local kids has begun.
The Sharpsburg Community takes over when the Micah’s Backpack food program ends with the school year. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church provides the leg work.
This year is especially challenging when we’re all paying more at the grocery store. That matters little to a hungry kid!
You will see food collection bins at our local businesses: Nutter’s Ice Cream, Battleview Market, Sharpsburg Pharmacy, Bender’s Tavern, and Still Sherry’s.
Please be as generous as you can. It is an outward sign of our devotion to generosity in our community. If anyone asks you what this is all about, tell them, “No Kid Goes Hungry in Our Town!”
We can even send someone over to pick up food if need be!
Here’s what we need to fill their bags:
Cereal, Cheese Crackers, Apple Sauce Cups, Jelly, Mixed Fruit Cups, Peanut Butter, Pudding Cups, Mac n’ Cheese, Baked Beans, Pancake Mix, Syrup, Canned (Green Beans, Peas, Corn), Spaghetti Noodles, Spaghetti Sauce Ketchup, Spaghetti Sauce, Mayo, Oatmeal, Popcorn, Juice boxes, Canned Chicken/Tuna, Peanut Butter/Cheese Crackers, Juice Boxes.
