The Canongate PTO wishes all of our students, families, teachers, and staff a happy, restful, and safe summer break! Thank you for making this year so special with your support, smiles, volunteer hours, school spirit, and unforgettable memories. 💙

We hope your summer is filled with sunshine, laughter, adventure, and maybe a little extra sleeping in. 😎🍉

📱✨ Calling All Social Media Superstars! ✨📱

The Canongate PTO is looking for a volunteer to help manage our social media accounts! Currently, that includes Facebook and Instagram… but who knows where your creativity could take us next? 👀

This role is perfect for someone who:
📅 Loves keeping things organized and detail-oriented
🎨 Enjoys creating fun, engaging content
📣 Wants to help connect our school community
💻 Is familiar with (or willing to learn!) Canva and Meta Business Suite

You’ll help manage the PTO and school event calendars, coordinate with PTO leaders and school administration, and keep our families informed and excited about what’s happening at Canongate.

The best part? These accounts can become anything you dream up! 🌟
Over the last year, our social media presence has grown steadily, and we’d love someone excited to continue building engagement, celebrating our school, and bringing fresh ideas to the table.

⏰ Average time commitment is about 5–8 hours per month, and most content can be planned and batched ahead of time.

Get ready for a full day of fun, thrills, and family time! Join us for a PTO Spirit Day at the Fun Spot on Saturday, May 16th from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM!

📍 165 Hwy 85 North, Fayetteville

There’s something for everyone, from roller coasters and go-karts to laser tag, arcades, and more — the perfect way to kick off some weekend fun with your Cub crew!

🎟️ Armband Options:
• $15 = 1 hour of rides
• $35 = Unlimited rides all day

✨ A Fresh New Look for Our Front Sign! ✨

If you’ve driven by recently, you may have noticed something new out front! Our school sign has gotten a much-needed refresh, and we couldn’t be more excited about how it turned out.

The previous sign had seen better days and was ready for some love, so the PTO was proud to step in and fully fund this project. We believe in investing in our school’s appearance and creating a welcoming first impression for our students, staff, and community.

A big THANK YOU to Blank Slate for their fantastic work installing the new sign... it looks amazing! 👏

We’re so grateful for the continued support from our families that allows us to take on projects like this. Be sure to check it out next time you’re on campus!
