What a special Saturday in Sharpsburg! ❤️
The dedication of the To***co Leaf Sculpture was a wonderful way to celebrate Sharpsburg and Bath County’s agricultural history, honor those who came before us, and look toward the future of our community.
I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the day possible!
First and foremost, Amanda Matthews & Brad Connell with Prometheus Art for creating such a beautiful and meaningful sculpture for our community. We are incredibly grateful for the time, creativity, and care you put into bringing this piece to life.
Thank you to our donors — Rita & Stephen Beckham, Cassandra Stone Hurter, John Judy, Rob Lane, the Family of Alan Peck, Sally Purvis, Leigh Robertson Roberts, Walt & Corky Robertson, Walter Shrout, and Nina Young — for making the sculpture possible. Your generosity will leave a lasting mark on Sharpsburg.

And thank you to Bath County Florist, Our Produce, Goff Tents, Vickie Adkins, all of our Farmers Market vendors, and everyone who helped with setup, cleanup, planning, and all the little things behind the scenes. I know I am probably forgetting someone, but please know how much your help was appreciated!
We also wrapped up our first-ever season of the Sharpsburg Farmers Market, and what a great first year it was! Thank you to every vendor and every person who came out to support the market. We are already looking forward to bringing it back next year!
Saturday was about more than a sculpture. It was about community, history, and leaving something behind for the generations who come after us. ❤️
